Heaven the Last Frontier
Published in Paperback by Bantam Books (November, 1991)

Find out about your final destinationI can't believe that no one else has reviewed this fine addition to the books by Grant Jeffrey. It contains many interesting tidbits that I found interesting - especially the information about virtually the entire book of Ezekiel being found on stone tablets and how close it is to modern translations. Also included in this book is a lot of info about the coming third Jewish temple and what it means to both Jews and Christians. There are many pieces relating to the Second Coming of Christ, the new Jerusalem, and quite a bit about what our life might be like once we reach eternity. One things for sure - we =won't= just be playing harps and singing hymns. If you've enjoyed Jeffrey's other books, I highly recommend you consider this one.

What a FIND!!My husband and I found this book while visiting the Living Museum in Ireland. The lady who wrote the book founded the museum, and you can see everything that she talks about right there.
We are living historians in the States and we find this book to be outstanding. It touches on everything in the daily life of the Highland Scots. (from ancient drop spindles to a horizontal water wheel to house construction!!)
We have ordered extra copies for our friends.

How Do You Lift a Lion
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Average review score:

Excellent Curriculum Tie-InThis book easily and clearly illustrates the concept of pulley, screw and lever. Simple machines have never been so easy to explain. The cute animals and the banana party they have help the students in my 3rd grade class to understand force and work. Bravo!

How to Do Things With Logic
Published in Paperback by Lawrence Erlbaum Assoc (March, 1994)
Average review score:

A very good book for beginning college writers. The authors provide an excellent method for incorporating formal logic into the essay form. I highly recommend this book for students and teachers of rhetoric and composition. I have found this method not only helps college freshman write more logically, but also teaches them to structure their papers better, organize their ideas better, and generally write better arguments. The authors should consider expanding their method to other disciplines.
In summary the book explains how to set up a fund raising board, what sacrifices the leaders of the fund raisers need to make to stay involved and a variety of successful strategies depending on the audience you're working against.
The one liner: "Do I raise a million dollars from one person or a dollar from a million people?"
